Developing Strength Through Proper Form
Strength and conditioning is defined as a regimen that increases muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, core strength, and functional strength. There are many ways to define strength. First, power is the ability to move an object, or oneself, in order to improve performance in competitive sports. Most individuals strive to improve their strength for their job, to work more effectively around the house or to be more agile playing recreational activities. While developing power is a worthwhile pursuit for most people, it should be approached with caution in order to avoid any kind of injury.

Functional training using customized exercises are designed to simulate movement patterns. The use of functional training has proven to be an effective and enjoyable way to strengthen and condition the body to better perform at various sports and daily tasks. Functional training usually emphasizes a variety of different joint movements and body positions in an effort to prepare people to build their strength in practical ways.
